MG Motor UK has made further investment in its digital strategy by appointing Chris Richards as its Digital & Social Media Manager, reaffirming the iconic car brand’s commitment to growth and digital best practice among its dealer network. Chris joins MG with extensive experience in the automotive industry, having worked for companies including McLaren Automotive and Fiat Chrysler, where he spent four and a half years in his roles as Digital Marketing Manager and Technical Database and CRM Manager.
Chris will be responsible for developing and implementing social media and digital campaigns which will encourage engagement with existing and potential customers. He will also help support MG dealers in harnessing the power of digital tools and social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, to support MG through its ambitious growth objectives.
The appointment comes at an exciting time for MG, having just launched the New MG3. The stylish super-mini comes in three different grades; Explore, Excite and Exclusive, all of which feature an array of impressive technology. The three MG3 models are available in a great value-for-money package and boast a 7-year/80,000-miles warranty.
